Awards Selection Process
Every year, nominations for the Hon Kachina Volunteer Awards are received by the Hon Kachina Council from individuals across Arizona. All are carefully screened by a selection committee which then chooses 16-18 finalists who are personally interviewed along with their nominators.
The Hon Kachina Volunteer Awards honorees are selected by a prestigious Board of Governors comprised of prominent business and civic leaders and members of the Hon Kachina Council and program partners.
This year, each honoree will receive a handcrafted hon kachina doll, as well as a cash award.
