Jamie Brody
Jamie knows that the future of our community is in the hands
of its children and for almost 15 years he’s been rolling up
his sleeves to change thousands of lives in the Valley while
building a career as an attorney. An advocate for providing a
safe haven for women and children, Jamie volunteers at the
Sojourner Center -- an organization that provides a safe haven
from domestic violence -- and at the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Metropolitan Phoenix -- which provides after-school activities
for underprivileged youth.
Thanks to his dedication, the Sojourner Center went from a
grass-roots operation with 28 beds, to becoming the largest
domestic violence shelter in Arizona and one of the largest in
the country. At the Boys & Girls Clubs Jamie recognized the
opportunity to make a strong positive impact on the youth of
our community by working directly with the children at the Clubs,
fundraising to support the programs and services overseeing a
$6 million operations budget. According to Jamie’s supporters,
his passion and commitment to making a difference is unrivaled.
